Ever since I was a little kid, I've been fascinated by public transit: growing up in a bustling and sprawling metropolis without a car, transit played a integral part in how I got to explore, understand, and connect with the world around me and shaped my perspective, curiosity, and sense of place. It also gave me an appreciation for the logistics and technology driving it all and its ability to move millions of people from A to B smoothly every day while bringing strangers together on a shared journey. That, to me, was beautiful (plus trains are just super cool!!!).

Fast forward to today - countless trains and one engineering degree later - transit has become the catalyst behind my broader passion of using technology and creativity to build systems that serve people and quietly make a positive difference in their lives, big or small. Whether it's developing the server backend powering ND Connect to help neurodivergent folks find community and meaningful connections, or building simulation and data analytics software to support transit planning and operations, or doing the engineering work behind the scenes on the train control and signalling systems that ensure the safe and smooth operations of Toronto's subway network, or even just simply capturing photos of my surroundings on a walk or producing fun little short films, my goal is to contribute whatever I can to make the shared collective metaphorical journey of my fellow passengers in this world a little more comfortable, a little more fun, a little more meaningful, and to make all of us feel a little more human.

I'm a self-taught programmer and game designer from Hamilton. I work with a lot of technologies, but my favorites are .NET, Godot, Swift, and Go. I like running, rock climbing, and finding toads in the woods.

I've been coding games since 2017. I created a game called Logic World that's sold over 11,000 copies. I hate how many modern games and other software are designed to addict their users and extract as much value as possible from them. I'm focused on making digital experiences that are good for people and add value to their lives.

I’m Jehuda! I like learning about history, culture, and everything about the strange, ordinary worlds we humans inhabit and help make. I even did it for a living for a bit while getting my master’s in Anthropology from the University of Toronto. I loved getting to dive into old newspapers and niche websites and then tell others about the obscure stories you can find there. I’ve researched long-dead criminal geniuses as part of a research fellowship with the Jackman Humanities Institute, yapped about a weird experimental art festival as a guest lecturer for a course on the anthropology of activism, and spent a year learning whether hanging out with your friends can revive the commons and save the world (Answer: Kind of!). I’m a big fan of zines, dance floors, and finding words and images that make things and people feel alive.

I grew up in tight-knit hyper-local Appalachian communities, where people felt a strong connection to each other and the place they lived together in. I think tech has an often unrealized potential to expand this kind of belonging and mutual support.

After a Master's in Technology Innovation from the University of Washington, I've spent the last 3.5 years designing and building the front end for ND Connect on web and mobile.

I'm also huge UI nerd and love exploring the different metaphors we use when interacting with our devices!

Hi, I am George from Austria. I have been developing software using C# for over a decade and also plenty of experience with a vast number of other languages ranging from assembly (x86-64) to desktop/microcontroller-applications all the way up to web.

My main interests are all centered around software. Be it developing software or compilers, reverse-engineering or modding (extending existing software); sometimes even using assembly if needed. It is just so interesting to see what is possible.
